Be Careful: SCAM ALERT – Delivery Text Message Scam

An Post/ Courier Services will never ask customers to pay advance / additional delivery fees and will never look for bank account details. Customers are contacted by a text message which mentions outstanding shipping costs and has a link to โ€œTrack your packageโ€. They are then redirected to a fake look-alike website and asked to enter their credit card details.

If youโ€™ve become the target of these types of spam messages, we recommend blocking the number immediately. iPhone and Android users both have access to built-in spam-blocking tools that should help cut down on the number of fake messages.
