An Post/ Courier Services will never ask customers to pay advance / additional delivery fees and will never look for bank account details. Customers are contacted by a text message which mentions outstanding shipping costs and has a link to โTrack your packageโ. They are then redirected to a fake look-alike website and asked to enter their credit card details.
If youโve become the target of these types of spam messages, we recommend blocking the number immediately. iPhone and Android users both have access to built-in spam-blocking tools that should help cut down on the number of fake messages.
