A Message from Jason and Jo: Vittos Restaurant has been such a big part of our lives, for the past Eighteen years. We decided some time ago, that it was time to move on to something new and we are delighted to announce, that Vittos Restaurant is now under new ownership.
We would like to thank all of our customers, for their unbelievable support over these past 18 years – it has been a pleasure looking after you all. When we opened Vittos Restaurant in May 2004, we did so with the intention of establishing a family friendly restaurant, serving delicious, freshly cooked food, whilst offering good value for money. We are extremely proud that we fulfilled this ambition.
We would like to also acknowledge the support that we have received, from the Market Yard Centre Board of Management, Leitrim County Council and the Chamber of Commerce. These organizations play a massive role in making Carrick On Shannon such a fantastic and vibrant town.
We would like to particularly thank all of our staff, both past and present, for all of their hard work, dedication and loyalty. We have been blessed with wonderful staff over the years, which helped make Vittos what it is today.
Rest assured, the new owners have considerable experience and currently run over fifteen restaurants between them and they intend on keeping the Vittos ethos, exactly the same. We are particularly pleased, to introduce new Head Chef Francis Jacobs. Francis has over Twenty One years chefing experience, most notably at The Wineport Lodge in Athlone and The Abbey Hotel in Roscommon. Francis is committed to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and will certainly bring his own style and ideas to the Vittos menu.
Once again, we would like to thank you all for your support and we wish the new owners every success. We certainly look forward to dining in Vittos soon, although for the first time, it will be as customers!
